Evergreen Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The service was attentive, and the staff were friendly, making us feel welcome right from the start.
The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. I particularly enjoyed the [insert specific dish you liked], which was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, providing good value for the price.
One area for improvement could be the wait time during peak hours, as it took a little longer than expected to receive our food. However, the quality of the meal made it worth the wait.
Overall, I had a great dining experience at Evergreen Restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to eat!

I recently went to Goa, and my friend and I were looking for the best seafood restaurant when Google led us here. Even though there are many other popular suggestions, we wanted to try this one. Even though this is a modest restaurant, the walls and the amazing food it serves speak volumes. We got the Rava King fish, Tiger prawns, and Russian masala pomfret, all of which are must-tries, because they were advertised on the kitchen door as being "Made with Mom's Loves" (I'm not sure I can remember the exact phrase). The wall art and posters in this restaurant, which won't allow you sit still, are its best feature. Every piece of art and quotation makes you smile. When I met the owner, he mentioned the well-known Goan artist "Mario," whose few artistic creations encapsulate the state Goa. Will definitely recommend this spot for creativity and fun! You won't be let down when you come.

It was not difficult finding this restaurant so close to the Mahalakshmi temple. The ambience was good with soft music and walls decorated with witty and nostalgic posters. I ordered the Modso fish Thaali, and boy was I surprised to find a fish thaali with such variety, there was kismoor, kheer, sol kadi, black eyed beans gravy, and a lot of other items in the Thaali. I havent yet come across such a varied fish thaali in Goa, and all items were bang on on taste. The fish was fresh and well fried. The staff too were well spoken. The owner Mr Sayyam kindly agreed to click a photo of me with the Thaali. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good authentic goan food.

It's a local bar and restaurant located in the heart of Panjim city known for serving variety of fish thalis and fresh seafood since 48 years!! Their fish thali is pocket friendly and comes with so many Goan delicacies like fish fry, fish curry, tisreo, kismoor, crabs, fish pickle, solkadhi, dessert and much more!! I also loved this crab xec Xec which was traditionally prepared and the crabs were full of meat!!
• Prawns fish thali Rs 220/-
The ambience is rustic bar themed with attractive frames and wall hangings all around!! A delightful and pocket friendly spot in Panjim for fish thali lovers!!

We were planning on going for lunch to Kokni Canteen Goa. Looking at the long wait we thought its best to explore another restaurant in the vicinity & to our beautiful surprise we landed up at Evergreen Restaurant instead which is literary 1 min walk from Kokni.
My wife & I are local residence in Goa now & have explored almost all famous restaurants for Fish thali. I really don't have the correct words to express how beautiful the food is at Evergreen, its a cosy restaurant with few tables but the food here is among the best we have ever had in this city.
Goa needs to be talking about this tiny little restaurant lot more. One piece of advice drop your plans and come here just to eat I assure you the food memory will be with you for a long time.
Looking forward to eating here soon again with some friends & family. They deserve some serious recognition. Wishing this team lots of luck for the future they have along way to go in the culinary food.

One of the best places you can have fish thalis at !
Frankly, this place was accidentally discovered by us as the nearby location had closed. The vibes of this place are truly cozy with a lot of posters and art.
I didn't expect the food to be so good and tasty. I went for the kingfish thali and the kingfish was freshhh ! And cooked to perfection with all the spices and marination.
We also tried their dragon chicken which was just delicious and the vegies on the side was just perfect.
The owner was great and friendly and offered us complementary chocolates after the lunch.

Tiny place with only 5 tables. We ordered the fish thali and the chicken thali. Fish thali comes with a big slice of fried fish, a vegetable dish, kokam drink, prawn curry, crab curry, shell fish curry, dried fish preparation all in small bowls and a serving of rice.
Chicken thali had chapati , rice, fried chicken and chicken curry .
For the variety we had as well as the quality of the food, i think it was priced competitively. Today it is bye bye Goa or i would have come again to try out their alacarte menu. Keep up the good work..
Wish i had taken a pic of the thali!

Visited this restaurant randomly while around the streets of Panjim. The restaurant has limited seats.
I tried special fish thali which consists of rice, prawns curry, surmai fry, one subji, shivli kalvan, egg kalvan, crab kalvan, one gulab jam, loncha, little salad and kokam curry. I loved the taste of the food as the whole thali had unique varieties. The only thing was that the quantity was little less, but I am happy for the tasty food they served. Also, shared veg thali photos for veg people.
Hope to visit this restaurant again.

Had lunch at Evergreen Restaurant 1975, and their Fish Thali was simply outstanding! The flavors were spot on—perfectly fried fish, rich curry, and refreshing sol kadi, all coming together for an authentic Goan experience.
A big shoutout to Mr. Sanyam, the owner, for his warm hospitality and passion for great food. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance added to the charm. If you're in Panjim, this place is a must-visit!

It was my first visit to Evergreen restaurant & surpringly Sayyam (Owner n Chef) played like Messi. Very Mesmerizing, Tasty dishes I would say !!
It's my appeal to everyone to visit restaurants like which are being cured by Sayyam. It's the need of time as contemporary artists like Sayyam should be well appreciated.

We had a lovely meal at Evergreen with Sayyam- whose Dad started the restaurant in 1975 - personally attending to us. The food has the home cooked instead of the mass produced flavour. Lovely variety of dishes in the thalis. The prawn curry was delicious as were the fried prawns and fish. Sayyam took special care along with his staff to ensure we had everything we needed. The ambience takes you back to a long lost era. We will certainly be going back.

Being a true Goan and fish lover We were craving for the authentic Fish curry after long hours of travelling from trip, first thought came to my mind was Evergreen which would serve fish thali at night as well (this is rare in panjim) , Fish thali with prawns curry and Tora(raw mango) , nice big fry chonak fillet with crab sukha, kismoor, bhaji, This was truly home made food experience, also not to forget nice ambience to add to this, Must try !!!

The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken cafreal curry was the best I have had. The thali had amazing choices, the fish - both fried and curry were fresh and the preparation done wonderfully. Loved the green jelly like halwa. Kokum and other side dishes were nice as well.
I shall return to this restaurant again at lunch time ( suggested time for best thali experience) possibly every time I am in Goa.

I found the food here to be top class, very tasty, pocket friendly and with good portion sizes. The dishes had an authentic Goan flavour & taste. Value for money indeed.
Keep up the good work Sayyam!
I would highly recommend Evergreen to one & all.

We actually were on our way to Kokni Kanteen to have fish thali, which was closed on arrival. While we sadly walked our way back to Fontainhas, we found this signboard outside that said since 1975. We decided to eat and I promise you we did not regret it. Hands down the best fish thali I've had. The best. The vibe so pure and Goan. Now that's an experience I never planned for. Absolutely worth it.

The food was delicious 😋 and i would definitely love to visit again....
Fun fact, you can only get thali during lunch time in Goa.... But this was the only place that offered us a Thali at night on request.
